On November 4, 2010, XXXVI EUROSAI Governing Board Meeting was held in Madrid, Spain. The Chairman of the Accounting Chamber of Ukraine Dr. Valentyn Symonenko attended the Meeting and presented the Activity Report of the EUROSAI Task Force on the Audit of Funds Allocated to Disasters and Catastrophes.

Spanish Ambassador in the Accounting Chamber

On November 1, 2010 Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Spain to Ukraine Mr. Jose Rodrigues Moyano paid a visit to the Accounting Chamber of Ukraine. During the meeting with the Chairman Dr. Valentyn Symonenko the parties discussed the issues of bilateral cooperation, in particular, between the Supreme Audit Institutions.

Social problems in a focus of the Black Sea Coordinated Parallel Audit

The second Expert Team Meeting for Coordinated Parallel Audit of Protection of the Black Sea against Pollution was held on October 19-22, 2010 in Istanbul, Turkey. This event was arranged within the framework of collaboration between Supreme Audit Institutions of Georgia, Romania, the Russian Federation, Turkey and Ukraine commenced early this year.

The delegation of the Accounting Chamber of Ukraine paid a working visit to the State Audit Office of Vietnam. The main purpose of the visit was to sign the Agreement on Cooperation with the State Audit Office of Vietnam. The Ukrainian delegation headed by the Chairman Dr. Valentyn Symonenko stayed in Hanoi from 24 to 28 October.

The Accounting Chamber holds fruitful discussions on economic development

In The Accounting Chamber of Ukraine, meeting took place with delegation of Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD). The leader of OECD expert group informed, that mission of OECD in Ukraine is to prepare the expert review of budgetary process in Ukraine. Experts are planning to spare the questions of financial audit, in particular, to external control.

Bilateral Agreement on Cooperation signed with the State Audit Office of Vietnam

On October 24-28, 2010 the Chairman of the Accounting Chamber of Ukraine Dr. Valentyn Symonenko is on a visit to the Socialist Republic of Vietnam. On October 25, 2010 Dr. Valentyn Symonenko held a meeting with the Auditor General Dr. Vuong Dinh Hue. This meeting resulted in signing the Agreement on Cooperation between the Accounting Chamber of Ukraine and the State Audit Office of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam.

On August 25-26, 2010 the Accounting Chamber of Ukraine hosted the Ukrainian-Swedish seminar on performance auditing that was carried out in accordance with the 2010 Joint Action Plan to the project "Cooperation in the field of capacity building between the Accounting Chamber of Ukraine and the National Audit Office of Sweden".
