SAI's Heads of Ukraine and Russian
Federation Discussed Plans on
Bilateral Cooperation in 2010
On December 28, 2009 in Moscow the
Chairmen of the Accounting Chamber
of Ukraine and the Accounts Chamber
of Russian Federation held
consultations on bilateral
cooperation between the two SAIs
for 2010.
The parties discussed plan of joint
activities for 2010 and signed the
Decision to conduct parallel audit
of utilization of the state funds
and other sources of financing
allocated to regulation,
protection, research and
reproduction of water biological
resources in the fishing zone of
the Black Sea and the Sea of Azov
and maintaining ecological safety
in this area.
According to the schedule, the
audit will have been completed
until the last quarter of 2010. The
results of this parallel audit will
be executed as memorandum and
further used by the parties when
preparing international cooperative
audit of protection of the Black
Sea from pollution envisaged by the
2009-2011 Work Plan of the EUROSAI
Task Force on the Audit of Funds
Allocated to Disasters and
Catastrophes.
